Joe Pelonero, PTA

Joe has been a lifelong advocate for health and wellness. His fascination with the human body, specifically the musculoskeletal system, began early in his life following the steps of his father beginning to weight train in the basement of his house. Joe was a proud part of the EAHS football team and their powerlifting team. He later continued into a bodybuilding venture winning multiple junior/novice titles in the NPC Mr. Lehigh Valley bodybuilding competitions. Following multiple lower back injuries and subsequent rehab, Joe felt compelled towards a career to help others recover from injuries/disabilities with a return to functionality.

Joe attended Shippensburg University with studies in Biology/Health science before receiving his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Central Penn College, Suma Cum Laude. Joe had the opportunity to perform one of his clinical rotations with Robbins Rehabilitation later beginning an exciting career with them. Joe has a sincere compassion to help others and truly believes in the family/empowerment approach so dearly embodied at Robbins.

In Joe’s leisure, he enjoys spending time with his wife Marta, daughter Ella, and dog Coco. He enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. Joe loves the game of golf and working on progressing his own skillset. He also loves all varieties of music growing up in a musically inclined family.  Current hobbies include wood working and home renovation and enjoys the detail behind it all with the satisfaction of the end product.

Great experience, could hardly walk 2 weeks ago. With Todd's GREAT guidance, I am leaving with no pain. I would absolutely recommend Robbins Rehab. Thanks for everything.

My experience here has been a good one. The therapist have done a wonderful job and I leave this place feeling a lot better then when I first came in. I came here because of a balance problem and the improvement is evident. Now I can drive without any fear.

I got all my questions answered about the pain in my neck that goes down to my hand. Robbins Rehabilitation got me in to see a therapist the same day I called and I felt better after just one visit!
